Conference about ethnography

Usually I'm standing on the shoulders of giant-scholars but I will be sitting beside them in this event. I'm doing one of the keynotes at the Annual Ethnography Symposium in Manchester, UK in August 2017. The symposium is a leading international forum for debate and dialogue on the theory, practice, and form of ethnographic work. In 2017 it takes as its theme the question of politics and ethnography in “an age of uncertainty … Troubles, crisis, Anthropocene, Chthulucene, cosmopolitics … new worlds are making their way into the debates of ethnography and its discontents. Come and join the conversation and our other keynotes including Bruno Latour, Bill Maurer and Hugh Willmott.  Submit your paper to one of the specialist streams by 28th February 2017: http://www.confercare.manchester.ac.uk/events/ethnography/
